I found this old moca pot that belonged to my grandparents who have been passed away for at least 20 years. I’ve been using a mocha pot for coffee all my adult life so I am familiar with them, but I can’t seem to get this one to brew coffee. I ordered a replacement rubber gasket, but whether I try to brew coffee, or just hot water, nothing gets pushed to the top compartment. The water stays in the bottom and the pressure valve blows a lot of steam. Any suggestions on what would be going wrong?
