…then came the contract. The marketing/photos page (yes, the contract requires me to sign off on publicity for them) has a clause that says I have no rights. (See below) I said I wouldn’t sign it because of the threatening language and I don’t want any photos taken for the purpose of promoting Home Depot. It has no place in a contract for windows and installation. Actually, it’s bizarre that it is in any contract. I’m buying windows.
