I have a Sago Palm in the front patio outside.
Zone 8A.
It gets dappled sun.
I water it once a week.
I have had it for around 3 months.
It has sprouted quite a bit.
There are these yellow marks in the middle of some leaves, is this a mineral deficiency?

I have found conflicting sources about Sago palms planted in the ground in Charlotte NC.
I have seen a few around town planted in the ground.
I was told online yes they can survive without winter protection and told in a market no they cannot.
Does anyone have experience planting one in the ground here?
If so, did you protect it in the winter? Any more info or perspective is helpful!

I am looking for some perspective on my case.
I know there was a court case today, however I can't find anything on it.
Everything is so confusing right now, not even my lawyers knows what is going on.
My case:
GGG born in Sicily, never naturalized.
GGG married an Italian citizen, never naturalized.
Grandmother born in 1932, in US.
Mother born in US.
I was born in the US.
We only have documented proof of us starting the process in August, 2025.
We have not filed yet.
-We were advised this was a classic 1948 case.
-I have seen things where 1948 cases are being rejected, and some, with evidence of starting the process earlier, were allowed.
-However I have also seen 1948 cases rejected with evidence of starting before March 2025.
-Does anyone know what is going on, and what my chances are if I file in Palermo?
