Punisher: One Last Kill retold the same story..?

Okay so THIS is not a hate post, I really liked one last kill, was it as good as I expected? No.
Was it disappointing? Not really.. it was somewhere it between, to me it was half boiled.
I feel like we should’ve started with the punisher who just got out of redhook and we see him go to his apartment and just look in the mirror
And then this whole hallucination sequence starts.
Frank feels like a failure cuz he feels like he’s responsible for the crime and death in the city now since he inspired the AVTF, he feels like it’s all on him and tho he wants to go and kill Fisk and the AVTF, his body is just not moving, cuz he feels deep guilt. MONTHS LATER now after Born Again S2. We see the same scene as we saw with Frank in the graveyard, putting a gun against his head, seeing his daughter etc..
Frank is living as he in this special but then he’s payed a visit by Ma, we find out that between Punisher S2 and DDBA 1, punisher was.. well as usual, punishing people and he killed this crime family, he even killed ma but ma had survived,
She tells him at 6:47, he’s gonna be killed
And punisher is like ‘I’m counting on it”.
Punisher really just waits till the clock hits 6:47
And then the thugs come in, they start hurting others in the apartment and Frank is just seeing it all through the magic eye, he’s really done, the guy throws the gasoline in and lits it up, franks stands in the fire, eyes closed
Until he hears the neighbor’s kid “Mommy, Dad, daddy” and it reminds him of his own kids and THAT is why he busts out and fights the thugs to save the kid. The fight continues, like in the special Frank has 2 options in the end, either go after ma or save the deli guy and we see Karen flashbacks from the beginning of the special “do better Frank” and it clicks him, if his priority is vengeance, it’ll vengeance he’ll inspire but if the priority is to save those from becoming the victims that his family is, he’ll do genuine good

“This moment he finally stops killing criminals out of “ people like these killed my family “ to “people like this can kill someone’s family” and so Frank saves the deli guy! The same scene plays at the graveyard and then we see a few days later, Frank all geared up and in the suit pay a visit to Ma, telling her to leave the crime aside and that’s her only warning , ma is terrified, she doesn’t say a word
Frank turns back and then hears a voice from a room, *ma’s thugs torching somebody*
Frank turns around, deep stare into the her eyes/the camera ….. THE END

I thought all this as I was writing so go easy on me.
I mean I don’t like that we reopened the “punisher killed yet an other crime family that was involved in the park shooting”
HE HAD KILLED THEM ALL BY PUNISHER S1 OPENNING! In the end of the season he let go his truma too, choosing real world instead of day dreaming about his family. Season 2: he realized in the first half, world needs some punishing, in the end he BECAME THE TRUE PUNISHER. DDBA-1: he had been on missions so long, he had gotten more animalistic and to that I feel like this would’ve been a better follow up.

Again, I liked one last kill, I think for me it was like 7.5, (it would’ve been 8 if it’s second half was like its first half) but I feel we retold the same story, gave a good new meaning to his character but rushed it and the end was a little unsatisfying.
Truth me told, my version is about 85 to 90% the same but the 10% difference I made, to me feels like it really adds more to the character and the special.
