h9i broke instantly?

I just bought a brand new pair of h9i, box still wrapped in plastic. I start them, try to listen to one video to test them out, it worked for like 5 seconds, I take them off for a moment, put them back on, and now it instantly pauses the video the moment I press play, no matter how many times I press it.

So I open up the b&o app, add the device to try fix the settings perhaps, and start by downloading the latest software changes. And here's where the device just completely breaks. After finishing the update, the device just locks itself, no longer plays any sounds (unless I plug it in via the speaker cable). I cannot turn it off. The light is still on, the noise cancelling is still on, but the device itself doesn't work, and no matter what I do with the on/off switch (holding it to bluetooth mode for several seconds, switching it to both on and off several times etc.), it stays completely unresponsive.

Any ideas? My only idea right now is to wait for the batteries run out, charge it, and hope that the issue is resolved.

To those who healed fully, how long did it take? Did you get professional help, if so what?

Hi, I strongly suspect I got sesamoidits. It started exactly 1 month ago around my left bigtoe. It was very painful at first, but the pain reduced gradually after just a few days, which gave me hope that I would fully recover after a week or two.

However, it appears to just be.. stuck now? Over the past 3 weeks, I don't think I have improved one bit. The pain is just always lingering there at about the same level whenever I walk. It's not bad enough that I feel I need to see a doctor just for the pain, but I will if I need to do it to heal faster.

Thanks.
