brother’s MIL harasses me
My brother‘s wife’s mother is super nasty. She’s been rude to my parents for the 10 years my brother and his wife have been together, and she started being rude to me about 4 years ago when my brother and his wife started planning their wedding.
The issue I need help with is this: every time I see her I try to be polite and friendly. She’s not my in law and I want to keep the peace for my brother’s sake. For some reason she always feels the need to tell me how fake she is or how she’s really good at being fake. I’m not sure how well I’m explaining this, but she’s basically saying she doesn’t like me to my face.
Unfortunately, I’ve been seeing her more because my brother and his now wife just had a baby. My family (brother included!) try to avoid her as much as possible, but I know I will be seeing her on Sunday for Mother’s Day.
She’s so tacky lmfaooo please help with some peaceful but cutting comeback lines! I gotta let her know a little bit.
