Hello! I just noticed this recently, even when I don't have anything opened, a big chunk of my RAM and memory is being used.
I only found this out because my frames in games go from 100+ per second and then suddenly drop to a single digit. I also noticed even when simply typing or switching tabs, my entire laptop freezes for a bit. This happens not just occasionally but now more often.
I use an ASUS TUF FX505DT, if knowing that helps. It says I have 8GB RAM but typically around 6 - 7GB and 85% of memory is being used in idle. My startup apps were all already fixed and it says the temperature is 56°.
It's my first time posting in Reddit so I'm not sure if I'm doing this right. Honestly, I'm not a tech-savvy person neither so I don't exactly understand what I'm looking at here WHAHAHA.
I'd really appreciate if someone can help me through this step-by-step. Thank you!
