We (2 adults) are headed to Wheaton at the end of July from St. Louis. We were considering using Amtrak, but there’s no Naperville stop during the time we are traveling. Is it worth it to take the Amtrak to Union Station and then the Metra to Wheaton? Or does that just make for a super long travel day?

We have the ability to drive but thought the train would be more relaxing.
