White or colored flowers? (Opinions needed)
I’m definitely overthinking this, but I think having some additional opinions will help me decide. In an effort to cut down on costs, my plan is to use fresh flowers for only the bouquet and boutonnière and to use silk flowers to decorate our venue. Our (very small) wedding will be held in a small chapel (first picture).
I’m trying to decide if it’s better to use colored flowers (like in pic #2) or white flowers (like in pic #3) to decorate the venue. I think white flowers look very elegant, but I’m afraid that would be too much white with the chapel walls being white as well as my dress. On the other hand, I’m a little worried about the fresh flower bouquet and boutonnière not matching the silk flower decor well enough. I’m sure the florist could create something close, but it’s still a concern.
So basically, my question is this - Would it be better to do colored decor with a white bouquet/boutonnière or do white decor with a colored bouquet/boutonniere, OR just bite the bullet and do both colored decor and bouquet/boutonniere and just hope that the florist can create something that matches well enough?
