I applied for ssi benefits for my daughter who is diagnosed with autism in July 2025. I just wanted to know step by step on how to get a dedicated account for her . She has a large amount of back payments like about $7,000. The representative gave me a form to sign for the dedicated account but didn’t explain much on how to do it and this is my first time applying for ssi. Maybe im just slow lol. Do i have to open a account with a different bank institution? Do i give them the dedicated account form to them or to the ssi office? What do i need to do for monthly payments?
