Is it unrealistic to be looking for a purple hair dye that doesn't bleed terribly? I'm trying to avoid bleaching my hair and want to keep it a dark dark purple color.

I got it done professionally and it was fine but not quite what I wanted (left).

I waited a few weeks and then went over it with Arctic Fox (right).

The Arctic Fox is perfect, except it bleeds a TON and I have to bleach my shower each time I use it.

Does anyone have recommendations that might bleed less?

I’ve always loved doing my hair purple and have bleached it a few times in the past. I don’t want to bleach and want to maintain a dark purple color.

I recently paid for it to be professionally done and it came out reddish purple(pic 1). I ended up redoing it myself with Arctic Fox purple and the color is more of the dark purple I was going for(pic 2). I don’t love how much the Arctic Fox bleeds though (I’m having to bleach the shower after every use).

Are there any more permanent solutions for this color? My hair is dark, but I’m looking for a dark color that is still readable as purple in the sun and am hoping that bleaching isn’t an absolute necessity.

Any advice?
