Imagine if we faced the Spurs in the WCF, but we lost the 1st seed in the regular season
The way our team closed out the season after All Star Break is seriously not talked about enough. Securing that 1st seed was HUGE.
Ngl, I’m really glad we got the Spurs.
This team can handle the Spurs, especially with JDub back. It’s not going to be a cakewalk, but OKC isn’t about to lose 4 to them again.
LAKERS AND SUNS PLAYOFFS RECAP (PERSONAL UPDATE + BTS)
Worth noting that JDub mentions at the 5:49 mark that “It’s good that I haven’t had to rush back from my hamstring stuff at all. I’m actually taking extra days now than what was originally planned…” 👀👀

THUNDER UP BITCHES
Grade 1 Hamstring Strains take 1-3 weeks to recover from
I think JDub has gotten a lot of time to rest to the point that he could be fully recovered without rushing back. It’s been since April 22nd since he went out, so this Wednesday will mark 3 weeks. With the WCF starting on Monday May 18th at the earliest, I’m feeling good about having JDub back in time and healthy!
I don’t think we should be as worried about the Spurs as our regular season record suggests
Our first three matchups against them are a doozy. However, the last two matchups OKC is 1-1.
In the win from January, we won by 21 with a completely healthy roster. In the loss from early February, we were without SGA, JDub, Ajay, Chet, IHart and Dort and it was a 2 point game with 5 minutes left on the road. Spurs were completely healthy both those games. Not to mention we didn’t have Jared McCain on the team yet!
I still don’t think it’ll be an easy series, it’ll definitely be close. But I don’t think the Spurs have our number like our first 3 games against them suggest.
As long as JDub is back, OKC in 6
I think we broke the Laker’s fanbase
The meltdown has been going on for nearly 24 hours, life is good!
