Small rant about trigger warnings

I'm getting really tired of trigger & content warning pages that just say things like:

“including but not limited to…”

Or the vague warnings like:

“this book contains many dirty things and potential triggers”

I honestly would rather authors just name as many major triggers & content warnings as they reasonably can.

Obviously every single person has different triggers and no author could possibly list everything but I do think major content warnings should be clearly included when relevant.

Personally I'm not triggered by dark themes, I can read pretty much anything. I just think ethically/morally if authors include heavy content readers deserve straightforward information instead of vague teasing.

Content warnings are supposed to inform readers.

Small rant🫠.
