[Student] Algebra 2 / AP Precalc Tutor Needed

Hey everyone, looking for a math tutor and wanted to put a post up to see who's available.

**About me:** I'm a rising senior in NOVA. Going into AP Precalc this fall (counselor messed my schedule up and I haven't taken a math course junior year)

**What I need help with:**

  1. **ACT prep** — taking the test on June 13. Math is my weakest section. I'd want to focus on this for the next ~6 weeks.
  2. **Algebra 2 review** — I took A2 sophomore year and didn't have a math class junior year due to a scheduling issue, so I need to review pretty much everything before AP Precalc starts. Functions, exp/logs, polynomials, rational functions, basic trig.
  3. **AP Precalc preview** — once I'm solid on A2, I want to get ahead on the first few chapters of Precalc before school starts in late August.

**Logistics:**

- Looking for 1 session per week (60–90 min), virtual or in-person if you're nearby

- Available evenings + weekends

- I'll be traveling internationally most of late June through July, so the schedule will flex — I want to do diagnostic and foundational work in May/early June, then ramp back up mid-July through August

- Budget: flexible but reasonable

**Ideal tutor:** college student or recent grad who's taught A2/Precalc before. Bonus if you've taken AP Precalc yourself or scored well on the ACT. I'm self-motivated and will do the work between sessions — I just need someone to diagnose my gaps and keep me accountable.

DM me if you're interested or know someone who'd be a fit. Happy to share more about my goals and timeline.
