This October will be me (33F) and my husbands (34M) 10 year wedding anniversary. We never had a honeymoon and have never had the ability to take a vacation since. We live in the Sandhills and have 3 kids under 6 that we’d like to stay fairly close to, and thought Raleigh would be a fun choice to stay for about 3 nights. This being our first trip together and our 10 year anniversary, we’d love to find a fun or romantic hotel to stay in. Room service, fun environment, extra points if it’s walking distance to downtown and if they’d care that it’s our anniversary. We have no idea where to begin looking and don’t want to mess up this opportunity! Any advice would be greatly appreciated, as well as any suggestions on must-see/do things, restaurants etc. while we’re there. We’ll likely stay in the room a majority of the trip, so having a nice environment is high on our must-have list.

TIA for the input, we’re looking forward to it!
