package shipped UPS groundsaver ended up with USPS
A friend mailed me a package shipped UPS groundsaver and she dropped it at a drop off point, they scanned it as a ups package, and then they gave it to USPS who took it. They swear they didn't but the tracking makes it clear they did and also how else can you explain how it's with USPS? Anyway.
19 days ago it was flagged as "unpaid postage, item will not be delivered".
We are hoping they will not just throw it out or whatever but that it will eventually make its way back to her. I'm hoping to hear from others this happened to - was it eventually delivered or returned to sender, or was it lost forever? If you did get it how long did it take?
It's enraging this can happen through no fault of our own and no one will take any responsibility, allow us to file a claim, or do anything at all.
