Glp1 Seems to have stopped my UTIs

I’m on Tirzepitide and so far I have not had a UTI. I was getting them monthly for over a year. I don’t think it’s a coincidence as glp1s do a lot of different things like lower inflammation.

I was reading some early data that suggests this is being studied more.

Anyone else?

Severe, Bedbound Folks there is Hope!

I was severe bedbound for 9 long months. Could barely make it to the bathroom. I sat on my rollator and scooted myself. I did not bathe for months and months it was disgusting and I didn’t care. I was just trying to survive each day.

Here I am a year later doing so much better. I thought the day would never come. I am going back to work soon. Still pacing but also over doing it. Still can’t exercise but I walk the dog a little.

Still mostly housebound but can leave the house a few times a week.

I purely have the me/CFS type maybe slight POTS. No other symptoms.

I did take a glp1 that helped in the beginning but somehow turned on me and made me worse so I stopped it.

I take .25mg of LDN which I haven’t been on long. I think it helps a little.

I continue to improve each month. It’s slow but I’ll take it! I want to give y’all some hope! Hang in there! It can get better! I was suicidal at one point. Please hold on!
