Music that is 'out there' / experimental but still catchy
I'm looking for music that's unusual but still has a good beat and is catchy. Nothing that descends into a 5 minute Avant Gard freestyle-jazz saxophone solo, if you catch my drift. Sort of post-punk/moody/bass forwards and not prog rock.
The picture is of a band called Squid, their song 'houseplants' is the sort of thing I'm after.
