Driver won’t leave door

Delivery instructions include leave at door, no contact. Followed those instructions and once driver left I opened door to collect. 5 minutes later he comes back and starts banging on door and ringing doorbell calling my name but won’t say what he needs and goes on with this for about 5 minutes until he leaves again. 5 more minutes later he returns to start the same thing, but louder. When I still don’t respond, he calls 911 that he can’t access my door. He has this entire thing on speakerphone saying I won’t open the door and he has to be told that I don’t have to open for him. He finally backs down and says he can’t get out of my building but the exit is literally down the same set of stairs and the door has a push bar out…

Honestly a bit rattled over this entire thing as I’ve never had a driver return multiple times to my door to apparently harass me about not showing them how to exit a building. Would love to give benefit of the doubt but I feel crazy like there was anything I would have been able to do besides walk a stranger personally out of my building?

NYC based, has this happened to anyone?

EDIT: Proof of delivery pic was taken and marked delivered in the app. Unfortunately I do have a feminine sounding name and will quickly be adjusting that in the app.

Ache after deep filling

I just got what my dentist described as a deep filling in my molar, deep enough that next step would be a crown but this was a fix it for now. The original filling there chipped and had to get it fixed so dentist went in deep to replace it. Numbness has worn off now but have a deep ache in that tooth - obviously it went close to the nerve but wondering if it should be this sensitive? Could it be just because the nerve got agitated during the procedure?

I’ve had a fair share of fillings before and never had quite a persistent ache after. Is that normal/how long should it ache until concerning? It’s not debilitating but definitely ever present and distracting enough it has me second guessing everything is fine.

Wait and see vs fill them now cavities

The dentist I’ve been going to most of my life had a “let’s keep and eye on it” approach to cavities and I knew I had at least one or two we were watching that haven’t changed over the past year or so and didn’t cause any major concern. Go to new dentist today for a chipped filling to be told that I have 9 I should fill. Looking at the X-rays new dentist pointed out very faint shadows for them all, explaining how they’re not too deep yet.

I don’t feel like this new one is scamming me, but more so being much more proactive and eager to correct, which makes me concerned about putting myself through a lot that’s not necessarily needed at this point. Basically, I don’t want to be drilled into more than I have to, but how much weight should I put behind being proactive or requesting a less aggressive approach?

I’ve always had enamel issues and unfortunately prone to cavities even with good dental hygiene (constant flossing, mouthwash, enamel toothpaste, no smoking or excessive sugar etc.) so this will continue to be an issue and I’d hopefully like to figure out if it’s in my best interest to drill away or if it’s reasonable to wait some out.

Also: I finally have dental insurance hence the new dentist appt. Should I consider the question null and void and just treat as much as possible even if minor while I have decent coverage?
