International RN with US license holder

For nurses who are holding a US license but you are not an American, and you are currently outside the US. How y'all renew your licenses if you are currently working outside the US?

International RN but studied in the US and have the US license

Hi y'all, I am seeking advice from all the immigrant nurses.

So I have just started my first job and I am currently working in the UAE. But I am thinking of moving back to the US eventually maybe after 2-5 years.

I was wondering if I should start the EB3 process right now or not? How long would it take for everything to finalize?

As well if I start the process now, can I back out from it without getting any penalty or have to pay the cost for this process? (Let's assume if I have decided to stay longer in the UAE).

Can I apply for myself or do I need an employer to do that? If via my employer again can I back out and decide not to go through it?

Any advice on what to do and what would be helpful!
