Writers block

How do you guys deal with writers block? When I was a teenager, there were times the poetry literally flowed out of me. I don't feel that way much anymore. Is it just about going back into the world and experiencing it again in order to find my center? I wonder if writing without that magical muse guiding me is somehow not really writing, but cosplaying as a writer instead. Maybe it's time to hang up the dream and just get a normal job.

[M4F] Looking for a creative long-term RP partner (and hopefully someone I genuinely vibe with)

Hey, I'm a guy in my mid 20s and I'm from the US. I'm looking for a roleplay partner. I'm open to mostly everything and mainly looking for someone who I can vibe with. So I guess this ad will be structured around who I am as a person, and not as much about what I want to rp about.

MBTI: ENFP

My interests(vaguely):

-Philosophy: I was obsessed with philosophers like Nietzsche and existential philosophy for many years. I was a little cringe and still am, but that's me :).

-Music: I used to make music and now I mostly just play guitar. I communicate through music sometimes. Often times when I have nothing to say or can't find words to express how I feel about something, I'll pick up my guitar and pour that feeling into a song. When I'm in the mood, playing my guitar helps release tension that might have been building up. Its like that philosopher Wittgenstein said: "whereof one cannot speak, one should remain silent." My addendum to that is not to remain silent, but to find other mediums than words.

-Video games: Not as big on these as I used to be, but I love to play games with friends as a backdrop for conversation.

-Hiking/outdoor stuff: not much to say here, I enjoy nature from time to time. Its nice to get away from the city and lose yourself in the woods or the mountains every now and then.

-Gym: Self-evident, I guess.

-Psychology/neuroscience: I was pursuing a degree in neuroscience before I dropped out. Long story short, college wasn't for me. But I'm still — and always will be — deeply interested in making my own little models of human behavior and the like.

-Books: I used to read a lot more, and I'm trying to get back into it. Authors I loved when I was 20/21 were mostly Dostoyevsky, Murakami, and Hesse.

Yeah, that's me, I guess. Partially. Now, tell me about you and let's make something worthwhile.
