Pre-war apartment light fixture

I had this light fixture and got spooked because of old bugs/nest sitting in the bottom part and removed it. I was nervous about the bugs so I threw it out instead of cleaning it. Now I want to try to replace the bottom where it screws into the middle, but not sure what to search for. Before pic vs after removing base (sorry don't have a great before pic)

What type of light fixture is this? (pre-war apartment building)
