I am looking for advice on how to protect a 1S 18650 battery on the roof of my house from charging outer of the recommended temperature range. I live in Spain and so in the summer things get hot.

I've done all the sensible mechanical related things, like keeping the enclosure in the shade and 3d printing in a white material but I want to add electrical protection.

I am using a waveshare solar manager to charge a 18650 3.7V Li-ion cell at the moment but it doesn't have temperature protection.

Can anyone recommend either a 1S PCM battery protection circuit with temperature protection or a solar charger with temperature protection.
It is powering a 1W device LoRa device.

Here's my slightly weird lora receiver build! Its going to communicate with a buoy in the future, that's next on my list to build.

I'm in mallorca were we get high 30sC in the summer and the sun is strong so I wanted a way to keep the electronics and batteries in the shade. This is why I have this solar panel tent setup!

Inside the box is 29C and the ambient is 26C and so its looking promising.

I used a waveshare solar manager D with x3 18650, a heltec 32 v4 and a BME280 for temp, pressure and humidity (inside the box).

The Lora antenna position is temporary whilst i wait for an extender cable so that i can mount it at the top of the mini pole.

The pole was already there and so just making use of it.

Just thought i would post here for people to laugh at it or get some inspiration. Either is good!
