How often do you spend time together?
Genuinely curious how much time other couples spend together?
I think I have an unusual situation lol but idk because i’ve only dated/married one person. And didn’t have married adult parent figures growing up (foster kid 🙋🏻♀️)
We’ve been together 10 years, married 6 years. We spend 10-15 minutes chitchatting after work but otherwise it’s just little check ins in between our separate hobbies. Like if he’s going to the bathroom in between gaming he’ll be like “hi!” Which I do love.
He really likes this amount of connection and tells me it’s very normal, I find it strange but liveable (clearly).
Do other people want to hang out all the time? Or at least like one long hang out sesh once a week? I genuinely think I’d like that 😅 or are there couples that live like this and it’s great even decades down the line?
bonus question: any advice on compromising when he’s already said what he’s comfortable doing? And you want more?
