My fiancé has an extremely artistic and talented friend who’s a fashion designer that specializes in up-cycling and dyeing, so she helped bring my enchanted forest floor vision to life with my dress! It’s a vintage, handmade cotton eyelet dress with a crochet collar and sleeve cuffs from the 60’s or 70’s that I found at a shop in Asheville! Our friend altered it to my size, replaced the zipper, dip dyed it and sewed little bits of magic like moss, charms with our initials, faux ferns and sequins onto the hem. We had a private ceremony in the Blue Ridge mountains and I’m in love with how everything turned out!
