I was wondering if you can pull bags/chests in pve and if you can/you have where at?

I know for sure the collector quest was out last night but when I got on today it shows he has no quests

After I got out of the match I spectated a guy leaving with purple rings in his pockets that said looted by him, is there a spot to find them on water map? Or did he just switch them to his inventory when he killed someone
