Unfollowing artists over technical skills vs. their passion / Am I being too elitist?

I’ve been following a specific fandom for quite a while now, but lately, I’ve been feeling really conflicted about my feed. Most of the artists in the community are genuinely nice people with immense passion for the characters. However, from a technical standpoint, their skills (anatomy, composition, color theory) are lacking.

As someone with a professional background in visual design, my eyes are highly sensitive to aesthetics. I care deeply about pure visual beauty, and it honestly drains my creative energy to see low-quality art cluttering my feed.

I recently decided to unfollow several people—not because I dislike them as individuals, but because I simply cannot tolerate looking at poorly executed artwork anymore.

Does anyone else strictly curate their feed based on artistic quality, even if the community itself is wholesome? How do you deal with prioritizing pure aesthetics over fandom passion?

Looking for a hot apple pie scent 🍎🥧

Hi everyone! I’m looking for a hot, spiced apple fragrance where the spices are sharp, potent, and almost medicinal—think Tiger Balm Red.

My all-time favorite is the discontinued Rustic Dawn by Café de Parfum. I loved its heavy cinnamon paired with myrrh and geranium, which gave it that spicy, edgy bite.

What doesn't work for me:

Kilian Angels' Share / Lattafa Khamrah:

It just smells like red envelopes and dusty, dried potpourri.

Nobile 1942 La Danza Delle Libellule / Theodoros Kalotinis Apple Pie:

Both are way too sweet and lack the strong spice kick I want.

I want the cinnamon to take center stage with baked apple. Any niche or indie recommendations? Thank you!
