I’ve seen some discussion about the Cavorite X7 potentially being useful for firefighting missions, but I have a technical question.
During wildfire operations, aircraft often have to fly through smoke containing soot, carbon particles, ash, and other debris. Wouldn’t ingesting these particles into the engine(s), cooling systems, or lift fans potentially cause problems over time?
