Another choice question for a family
Hi EVUk,
Looking to finally get an EV, but really can't make the mind.
We currently have a last gen Santa Fe (21, diesel, had it for almost 3 years, no finance), 3 kids (16, 12, 6, the youngest still in a child seat for a couple more years), daily use is mainly commute to customers sites (20-60 miles a day), however, we're fairly active as a family.
We go skiing to France/Austria with equipment (usually 2 trips), we also usually take 2 summer trips France/Spain/Austria (some of us don't take flying very well).
Aside those large trips we also quite regularly go for weekends peak/lake district, Cornwall etc (100 miles+).
I suppose EV9/Ioniq9/Ex90 would be ideal but they're a bit crazy priced, is there other reasonable option?
We tried Model Y and Enyaq but they seemed a bit tight in the back (MY was ok for luggage, but not sure how much a roof box will be impacting the efficiency).
