My dad is cheating on his current girlfriend. What do I do?
I’ve been catching my father on dating apps for a while. Sometimes I catch him swipe right on a profile, and he’s sometimes left his phone opened on the counter, and there were multiple women in his Messenger chat with which he was clearly showing romantic interest. (Chats with love emojis and all that)
He’s been with his current girlfriend for maybe 5 months now, and he has done this with all of his past relationships. I don’t know how dating apps work, but one thing I’m sure about is you shouldn’t keep using them when you’re in a relationship.. duh!😬
She seems super happy with him, she told me he was the love of his life and she could see them grow old together. I also get along really well with her.
I am neurodivergent and barely 18, so I truly don’t know what to do. I’m scared that if I tell her, I’d overstep in my dad’s love life, and have an even worse relationship with him after that, and I don’t want to hurt her feelings or see her sad. She absolutely does not deserve this, though, nobody does! She deserves way better than what my dad is doing to her, so I’m torn.
