If you already took Medical Terminology before starting the program, did you request a course substitution, or are you going to retake the class?
If you requested a substitution, was it approved? I’d love to hear about your experience. Thanks!
Hello I have a friend who made a mistake got a terroristic threat on a public servant charge in March 2026. No priors , honorable veteran and just graduated with a bachelors in business in management informations systems from UHD. Can not get a job anyone with this on their record able to get a job or any advice ? I don't know what to tell him.
Hi everyone,
I’m hoping to connect with anyone currently working in Patient Access, Patient Services, Registration, Guest Services, Patient Relations, or similar healthcare support roles in the Houston area.
I’m transitioning from education into healthcare and have recently been accepted into a Radiologic Technology program beginning this fall. In the meantime, I’m seeking an entry-level healthcare position where I can gain patient-facing experience while completing my program.
I’ve submitted applications with Memorial Hermann, Houston Methodist, MD Anderson, and several other Houston-area healthcare organizations for roles such as:
• Patient Access Representative
• Patient Services Representative
• Patient Relations Representative
• Receptionist/Front Desk
• Imaging Assistant/Technologist Aide
• Patient Escort
If anyone works for these organizations and would be willing to share advice, connect me with a recruiter, or help ensure my application gets reviewed, I would be incredibly grateful.
I have 10+ years of customer service experience, experience handling grievances and conflict resolution, coordinating meetings with families, managing sensitive information, and providing support in fast-paced environments.
Thank you for any guidance or connections you can provide!
Hi everyone,
I recently applied for a Receptionist - Hospital/Clinical position with Memorial Hermann and was invited to complete their virtual screening questionnaire (9 questions with video, audio, text, and multiple-choice responses).
For anyone who has gone through the process, what types of questions did they ask? Were they mostly customer service scenarios, healthcare-related questions, or questions about your work experience?
I have a background in education, customer service, front desk support, and handling high volumes of phone calls and parent/student inquiries, but I'm new to healthcare and would love to know what to expect before I complete it.
Any tips, examples of questions, or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Question for Spring 2026 and Summer 2026
Did yall find out exactly at 2 weeks post application close date whether you were offered or rejected ? Also was it morning or afternoon 😅
Okay! Applications have officially closed now we wait ! I think communication goes out May 15th!
Has anyone ever had a course not transfer over because of how it's coded but the syllabus matches almost exactly to the course requirement ? Is it worth me appealing or should I just let it go ? For example my AP 2 class I took is labeled ZOOL 2404 not BIOL 2402 . Same topics covered though.
Just submitted my app . This is about to be the longest 3 weeks of my life. Good luck to everyone !
Comment here if you applied/ are applying too for the Fall!
