Should I Leave Them Behind?

I’n currently working my way through Stalker 2, and I’m struggling with something that I honestly never dealt with in the previous games. You see, just like CoP, you can’t sell merchants weapons if they’re too damaged. However unlike CoP, the technicians charge you an arm and a leg to fix up a single gun. As a result, I wind up paying more to repair weapons from bandits or other human enemies, and I can only sell them for like a third of the price!

So my question is: is it best to just leave weapons or should I hold onto them until I get a discount or something from the technician and/or merchant?

3 Down, 1 to go…

Took a while for emissions to spawn in CoP and I had to do a glitch for the last artifact in CS, but I’ve 100%ed all 3 games and now I’m ready for HoC!

Foreshadowing Found in 2034 Book?

I was given the 3 metro books for Christmas and I’ve set the rule that, whenever I finish one of the Metro games, I can’t start the next till I finish the associated book. I 100%ed Last Light a week or two ago (Amazing game by the way!) and started to read the Metro 2034 book when I came across this.

In this area, a guard has been recruited by a heavily burned and disfigured man who goes by the name: Hunter. The man then racks his brain trying to remember what he heard from folks who talked about the legendary man. The most notable thing is the fact that he noted that Hunter seemed like a “Warlord.” With the 2039 trailer having told us that the enemy faction led by someone also named Hunter, this begs the question: Could the same Hunter from the first game and Book, actually be the same Hunter from the 2039 trailer?

What is the Timeline of Dead Money in New Vegas

So in the New Vegas DLC, “Dead Money,” you work with a time to break into the Sierra Madre. That team consists of a Knight-Kin with a split personality, one of the original performers of the casino turned ghoul, and a Brotherhood of Steel assassin who’s voice was removed by the previously mentioned team member. All of this is at the whims of a disgraced Brotherhood of Steel elder who wants to use the casino to kill everything and everyone in the Mojave.

What I’m wondering though, is how did this come to be? You see, we learn that Elijah, the elder, is trapped in the Sierra Madre by the time we show up. We also know that Dean, the ghoul, shoved Kristine, the assassin, into an auto-doc to make her sound like Vera Keyes, long story. BUT, Kristine has a collar when we find her in that auto-doc, and we see that Dean also has a collar. With that, do we know when Dean had a collar put on him, and furthermore, how could Elijah orchestrate this while trapped inside the casino?

An update if you saw my last post about the Meat Constructor achievement, I finally got it after retrying and speed-running the first part of the game!

I only have one achievement left, however, it’s Artifact Sommelier and I can’t seem to get the last artifact I need: a “Firefly.” So I’ve restarted a second time, because I deleted my save for the Meat Constructor when I was trying to finish the game, and I need to either the Red Forest or the Army Warehouses as those are the only two places it’ll spawn. I just got to Cordon, but I was wondering what the earliest I could get to either location is?

I know you have to do the side quest in Yantar for the scientists to get to the Red Forest that way, but what about getting to the Army Warehouses through the Garbage? Do you have to do a lot of quests to unlock that or what?
