I originally planned to just copy and paste everything I said about Lill but replace all the stuff about her with stuff about Kai because I thought it would be funny and to show how boring both characters are but I decided not to because that seemed lazy

But yeah Kai isn’t very interesting or memorable, he’s just another one of your generic early boot characters again nothing to special to say about him, like I’m not even that deep into this post and I’m struggling of what to say next, his relationship with Maggy is fine, nothing to much to it really, I guess I could talk about his crash out on Yul which I honestly don’t really care about, I do like how he put his hair back up afterwards in the remake, his best dynamic is with Yul. Yeah that’s really all I have to say about Kai there’s nothing much to him, I don’t care of he comes back or not, but he probably had to for season 2 representation in any eventual loser season due to Yul and Connor returning in all-stars and doing well there and Oliver probably never coming back which just leaves him, Maggy, and possibly even Karol. I don’t know I really don’t care for Kai there’s really nothing of any note to say about him just put him in C tier and move on to an actually interesting character to talk about next time.

Oh disventure camp winners, how garbage must you be, Miriam, Riya, and Logan are such bad winners and would all rank in the bottom 6 of a TD winner rankings and all be last place when compared to BFDI and II winners, why can’t this pick a single good winner… wait this show has 4 winners and I only mentioned 3 of them, OH YEAH RIGHT JAMES! Yeah James is the best winner by a massive landslide slide as well all the problems I have with the other 3 aren’t really in there with him, James is a likable character that gets called out for his actions that doesn’t suffer from pure favoritism and actually has presence to the season. Starting with the first point, James is really fun with a great personality and vocal performances from his old and new VA, plus he has the best character development out of any character expect for one but we will get to them. James also has a really good relationship with Aiden and is my second favorite ship in the whole show, and it brings good drama when it’s revealed that James was using Aiden for followers, this is good because it doesn’t portray James as a perfect god incapable of doing wrong, I wonder where I heard that before, but it also makes the finale have more to it, since think about what happen in season finales, what’s typically the last threat there? Don’t let the villain win or who will be the winner of these two good people, like that’s not really interesting all the time but this drama adds some suspense to the finale, also season 2 easily had the best finalist as it has the good James the not bad Riya and the not Aiden, all three are A tier characters this seasons. Also James in all-stars is alright he doesn’t do much, this doesn’t effect my score on him that much but I probably should mention him. Anyways overall James is really good and belongs in A tier.

You know, I think everyone had that one archetype that they really like, rather it be the girl boss characters, the silly characters, the ones who have heads shaped like trains characters, wait what? But for me personally I really enjoy the irredeemable mean male characters and who in disventure camp fits the role better than Yul, yes I know this probably my biggest hot take when it comes to someone ranking high on the list but I don’t care Yul is very funny. Yul is unironically a character who I have zero problems with, he was great in season 2 and easily the best character in All-stars, Yes. But if you hate him because of well the obvious then I can see and respect that, after all these are just opinions on fictional characters, why would I get mad over them. Also on a side note isn’t it strange to how Yul has merch? Like why, arguably the most hated character of the show having merch, sure his shirt looks cool but it’s Yul. Anyways Yul is S tier and my second favorite character.

If there’s one character who I can’t understand why someone would hate, it’s Tristan. Like when it comes to flaws in their writing I honestly can’t think of any, Tristan is essentially the most flawless character in the show I can think of. Now let’s actually talk about Tristan, Tristan is a really fun character with good vocal performances and interactions, there’s of course Ivy in which the two of them have a really good moment in episode 7. A nice sibling like bond between them and Zaid, and hey they even have a good little friendship with Richard. And now as for them and Benji, in my opinion their relationship is fine, feels kind of unnecessary and last minute added but it’s fine. Also Tristan is a lot like Bowie for me, when the cast image was first shown I didn’t like either of them because I thought their designs were ugly and I wanted them out quick, but we got to learn about them I actually started to really enjoy them and both became some of my favorites within their casts. So overall Tristan is a flawless character… I put them in B tier, if they got more than I could rank them higher but now at last Tristan is in B tier.

Rating Disventure Camp Characters: Part 27

Hannah is a pretty good character, I like her interactions with Amelie, had a pretty good design, and a very sweet elimination, one of the most negative things I can say about her is that she got paired up with Logan near the end of the season but that’s just Logan’s awfulness more than her own.
It’s also funny with her curse with everyone she gets close to getting eliminated besides Benji for a little while, her interactions with Benji are fine I don’t really care for it. I’m running out of things to say here ummm her being recruited into the show is interesting, it’s funny how her and Ellie are both bisexual bar tenders… well at least Ellie in the beta I don’t think Ellie was a bartender in now current Canon. If you spell Hannah backwards you still get Hannah which is cool… could you tell I have a hard time explaining things, anyways I don’t think there’s much else I could really say so overall Hannah is my fourth favorite DCCC character and is B tier

4th place to 4th boot to 27th talked about. Hunter is pretty good character, he got some nice interactions with Tess, and a nice relationship with Ally… or used to I guess. I like the recurring joke in the remake with his conversation cards, it’s also funny seeing Hunter be a loser a literal loser, more of a loser than Oliver this season and it was also cool seeing him not being a loser. His friendship with Maggy is good and unexpected to see, two characters who never interacted in the beta having a good interaction here. All of Hunter’s immunity wins were funny due to how he won them all and no one else got any besides Karol and Aiden. Also his elimination is really good definitely one of my favorites, seeing Riya pull out that idol and use it is really good both from story stand point and from a strategic perspective. Huh I only talked about Hunter in season 2, guess I should talk about him in All-stars. He’s fine in that season just an early boot Character nothing more, it’s dumb seeing him beef with a literal child. Yeah I think that’s all I got for Hunter so B tier

Miriam, now are we finishing the garbage winner trio or are we taking about the best winner… WERE FINISHING THE GARBAGE WINNER TRIO, CAN YOU TELL THAT IM JOYED TALKING ABOUT THESE THREE AWFUL CHARACTERS CAN YOU TELL!

Miriam is the character I personally hate the most and consider the worst winner, why? Well let’s start shall we?! Let’s go over what Miriam did in season 1… basically nothing, now not doing much to the plot is fine as long as you’re relevant, that is what Owen did right? Well she’s is not relevant. If you’re only important for like 5 episodes of a season then why should you win?! You may say that it’s like that because of her strategy of flying under the radar, to that I say could she still have been relevant despite that, MK’s strategy was just that for her 6 episodes yet she still manages to get focus and be entertaining for those 6 episodes. A good way to show her not important she is by her voting history, every time she voted she either voted incorrectly or the person who went home got more than enough votes to leave even without hers and she caused no eliminations. You may counterpoint that with her making an alliance with Dan and Gabby to cause Grett’s fake out elimination but you really telling me Dan couldn’t have done that instead, it actually would’ve made just as sense if not more so for him to do it as it would work well with the Gabby and Dan story and we saw Dan see Grett mistreat Gabby! If a character does nothing the whole season and most of their actions could easily been taken up by another character and you have to wait until the last two episodes of the season for them to do literally anything than what’s the point of even having her around, she overstayed her welcome in every season she’s in, even all-stars, HOW DO YOU MAKE ME THINK YOU OVERSTAYED YOUR WELCOME WHEN YOU WERE ONLY IN 4 EPISODES! What, episode 5 is the only good episode you have, 1 out of 31 where in the other 30 you either did nothing or really angered me? I’m sorry guess that means you have to be a D tier character and not a F tier character, congratulations! I could honestly just go on and on but I really don’t want to full my anger anymore and just stop talking about her and move onto a hopefully better character.

I originally planned on this segment being me talking about Ted the 2012 movie as a joke but I decided against it as I probably should talk about Ted. And Ted is a good character, a very funny one too. Ted is both funny in that he actually is funny and that he has a bit of a meme factor to him. Not as much as a meme factor that Dan has but a meme factor nonetheless. Ted also has pretty good design, I really like the suit. His dynamic with Alessio is also probably one of my favorite dynamics despite episode 13 being the only episode they really ever interacted in. And yeah it is a shame that Ted got booted so early and didn’t rejoin meaning he got wasted but I enjoyed the little we did get of him. I also wanted to talk about him being a decoy villain, like I do like it but why would you do that with a pretty original character and not the same archetype we seen several times at this point! But that’s enough about that. Also he still hates Logan as seen by him rooting for Jade over him so bonus! B tier

Rating Disventure Camp Characters: Part 21

Diego is a perfectly fine character. That’s all there really is to him. He’s the least interesting to talk about of the DCCC cast in my opinion which I guess make sense, like is the fourth boot eliminated in the fifth episode of season 4 really ever that memorable… don’t ask who my second favorite total drama character is. But yeah Diego is a serviceable character that has no big problems but is also a character that has no good things about him really. C tier

But I would actually like to talk about my theory with Diego, as we all know DC loves their gay men characters and they making them go far, but besides Diego, he’s the most sidelined one and ranks third to the bottom in DCCC, huh that seems rather out of character for ONC, wonder why they did that. Well I’ll tell you why they eliminated Diego so early, it’s so he can go far in the losers season, ONC knows if they eliminated all the characters they don’t like early than they will be forced to use them once they eventually get around to the losers season, so the best way to get around that is to eliminate characters they do like early so they can go far in the losers season. So expect Diego to make the finale in the losers season along with idk Aubrey I guess.

Rating Disventure Camp Characters: Part 20

You may be wondering why I have Jared on here, isn’t he the creator of disventure camp? No reader, I’m not talking about the creator of DC, I’m talking about the host of the beta season, adventure camp. Yippee, how fun, I know this is text but I’m saying that as unenthusiastic as possible. Jared is fine, he’s a basic host character nothing else, his plan of kidnapping Chris is stupid, quite literally as it got them copyrighted, him being an intern from the past is a cool idea… uhhh, he has a fine design. He’s a worse host than both Trevor and Derek I guess… I have nothing else to say, very bottom of C tier

And to have something of this post I’m going to spin the wheel again and talk about another character… and it’s Drew!

Drew is a fun character. That’s about it. Being an early boot can do that to you and being mute as well but I do quite like how they did him, the note book is a good idea that makes us see what he’s thinking while still keeping him mute, it also has some nice moments like him saying “nice” on the note book, it’s nice seeing him interact with Gabby, and Dan apparently, I never really see these two as being close but I guess they are since they came together at the wedding. His elimination is fine, good move for Grett to benefit her game. I actually have no idea why I considered him my 6th favorite character at one point in all honesty, ehhh I’m running out of things to say here so I’m just going to stop here and place him in B tier

And finishing out the worst performing alliance in DC history is Ashley!

Ashley is good. She’s a pretty interesting character, it’s cute seeing her treat Fiore as a little sister before she sees her true nature. She’s a good team leader in all-stars, kind of sad she’s a babysitter for Jake and Ally. Yeah there isn’t much to Ashley now that I really think about it, maybe if they gave her the winning arc they planned to than maybe she would’ve been a lot higher on the ranking but she’s a simple B tier and the best of this let’s be perfectly honest, lackluster group of characters (of her, Nick, Lill, and Will)

Also fun fact: Ashley is the only character in disventure and total drama to compete in multiple seasons but only 1 merge episode, Fries and Snowball from BFDI also fall into that category if we included BFDI but I’m not going to here.

Greetings and salutations good to be back on the air, anyways the next character on the list is Ivy!

Oh Ivy, was a great character all around, she has a nice relationship with Zaid. A good friendship Tristan and a really nice scene in episode 7 and it was really heartwarming seeing Ivy invite Tristan to live with her. It’s funny how much she annoys Pepper, wait that wasn’t Ivy that was Magnet. Also Ivy is pretty funny a more funny than the actual “comedic relief” this season. Ivy also has a pretty solid arc, Ivy doesn’t need to win the season and she does exactly that, it sure is great that a character doesn’t win when they don’t need it it sure is nice this season know that and didn’t make some dumb orange haired guy win, what kind of season would do that awful idea, anyways Ivy did leave at the perfect time and had a really good arc during her 12 episodes. So yeah, overall Ivy is my favorite Season 4 character, A tier.

Also on a side note did you know Ivy is the only DCCC contestant to appear 13 episodes in a row(for at least DCCC), the one you know.

u/FanOfNumber127 — 14 days ago

If I’m being completely honest, if it wasn’t for the remake Maggy would’ve easily had ranked second to last place all the way down in F tier for all the same reasons as Will but only ranking higher due to the enjoyment I get out of making fun of her from how basic she is. I get lots of enjoyment for making fun of fictional characters and their writing problems

Anyways we’re not talking about beta Maggy, we’re talking about remake Maggy, and wow Maggy sure did improve in the remake, easier the most improved, like she actually does something and has multiple interactions, like Maggy and Hunter is such an out there pairing at first but is actually pretty good! Her relationship with Kai is still fine but that’s kind of what I expected out of it. Also on a side note episode 3 takes place on Riya’s birthday and episode 6 takes place on Maggy’s birthday, meaning there’s 17 days between the two episodes which is a lot of days if you ask me, why does it take this long? I have no idea

Yeah overall Maggy really improved from the beta and is really good now, B tier

u/FanOfNumber127 — 18 days ago

And now we have Lill. Yeah as I mentioned in Nick’s part Lill isn’t really interesting

Like she’s one of your basic early boot characters no different from someone like B, the Geniuses, Amy, etc. just boring like them. If they did make her a fun or interesting character like someone like Dawn, Tyler, or even Sam then I wouldn’t mind but they really didn’t, Lill is boring. All she really does is make the worst performing alliance in the whole show and fail to expose Fiore. I guess there isn’t much you can really do with a very obvious survivor reference can you.

But I wouldn’t mind if Lill came back for another season and fleshed her out and make her more interesting , but I also wouldn’t mind if she was an early boot again or just straight up never came back in all honesty. Yeah overall Lill is C tier

u/FanOfNumber127 — 19 days ago

Tess, a character who I really liked in season 2, and was alright in tomjake season 2, probably one of the few things of actual worth in that season along with Dan’s return, but I really didn’t like Tess in DCAS, like Tess in DCAS is a strange anomaly to me it’s very strange like she’s just your basic therapist character oh goodie, which feels like a major downgrade from her season 2 counterpart, which I just really don’t like, you know I originally had her in C tier solely for DCAS for like over a year but than I realize I may had been harsh on when making this, so bottom B tier it is than… you know this was a very strange part

u/FanOfNumber127 — 21 days ago

Will, what to say about Will, actually that’s just the problem there’s nothing to really say about Will. Will is the first boot so there’s nothing too much to even say about him, plus every arc of his just gets glossed over, him over coming all of his fears just done off screen. Will not fitting in with Ashley’s family immediately cut off by Gabby saying Gabby stuff. Like there’s nothing to say about Will, I can’t even say that I hate him because that would infer I have an opinion on him and I just don’t, I have no passion for whatsoever, outside of ironically, talking about how little passion for have for him. As much as I hate second to last place at least I can say I hate them which is more than Will. But to be nice I would say he was extremely funny in the beta, and I would actually like if he came back for a second season, maybe give him some actual character

So overall I have no passion for Will at all and is my least favorite character, F tier

u/FanOfNumber127 — 22 days ago

Richard is a cool guy, and he got some nice interactions with Logan and Lynda. Although I would’ve like if they expanded on the Lynda Richard and Ted trio but that’s not really important. His interactions with Natalia are fine enough. His interactions with Jade in episode 14 were pretty fun and it was cool to see him win immunity… yeah that’s really all I got so say about Richard, sometimes it takes the smallest things to like characters, I put him in B tier

u/FanOfNumber127 — 24 days ago
