Another batch of Podium Pedals Formula is on the way. The 2-pedal set with carbon fiber pedal plates and heel cups will be back in stock tomorrow from 2 PM UTC.

The second production batch is larger than the first, but we still expect units to move quickly. We recommend acting fast if you want to secure one from this run. Further stock will follow soon, and we expect the supply of Podium Pedals Formula to increase as production ramps up.

Unfortunately, we are no longer able to offer the free GT-style pedal plates with the second batch. Changes to our warehouse operations would have added significant delays to preparing this bundle, and we decided that making Podium Pedals Formula available again as soon as possible was the better option.

Three-pedal version update 

We also want to provide an update on the three-pedal version. As we said before, manufacturing challenges with the clutch pedal delayed the original schedule. These issues have now been resolved, but additional time is required to prepare the clutch for mass production. 

We currently expect availability of the Podium Pedals three-pedal set and separate clutch upgrade to begin in October.

Trak Racer brings industry leading expertise in cockpit systems, while Fanatec continues to deliver the high-performance hardware that powers the driving experience. Together, we offer a more complete simulation ecosystem, making it easier than ever to build a complete setup from trusted brands within the CORSAIR family.

Q: What was announced?

A: Corsair Gaming, Inc. (Nasdaq: CRSR) has acquired all assets of Trak Racer, a global designer and manufacturer of premium racing and flight simulation cockpits, frames, seats, monitor stands, motion systems, and accessories.

Q: Why did Corsair acquire Trak Racer?

A: Fanatec’s strength is with the electronics, wheel bases, pedals, controls, and software experience. Trak Racer owns the physical structure around them, cockpits, seats, frames. Together we can offer a complete, turnkey simulation platform instead of two separate purchases. It also gives Corsair an immediate adjacency into flight simulation solution.

Q: Will Trak Racer operate as its own brand?

A: Trak Racer will operate as a sub-brand under the Fanatec umbrella, retaining its own product identity and community within the broader Fanatec ecosystem.

Q: Does this affect my existing Fanatec distribution/reseller agreement?

A: No changes to existing Fanatec agreements as a result of this announcement. Trak Racer channel product roadmap will be added to reseller offers later under the Fanatec reseller agreement.

Q: Will Trak Racer products become available through Corsair's retail and distribution network?

A: Corsair's global retail and distribution infrastructure is expected to help expand Trak Racer's reach beyond its predominantly online model.

Q: Will pricing or MSRPs change for existing Trak Racer or Fanatec products?

A: No pricing changes have been announced in connection with this transaction.

Q: Is a combined Fanatec + Trak Racer product line coming?

A: The companies plan to explore integrated bundles and simplified configuration across cockpits, Fanatec controls, gaming PCs, and accessories over time. No specific bundled SKUs or launch dates have been announced yet.

Q: Who leads Trak Racer going forward?

A: Matt Sten, Trak Racer's founder, is joining Corsair as Chief Technology Officer of Sim Solutions. Pete Hosking, Trak Racer's CEO, continues on as General Manager of the Trak Racer business unit.

Q: Is Trak Racer's warranty, support, or website changing?

A: Not as a result of this announcement. trakracer.com and existing customer support channels continue operating as-is; any changes will be communicated in advance. The plan is to merge Track Racer’s call center with Corsair and operate under the same process as Corsair.

CSL DD and Gran Turismo DD Pro

The additional validation process on our recent production batch is progressing well, and the CSL DD and Gran Turismo DD Pro are now gradually returning to stock.

The ongoing checks for this batch may add one or two business days to shipping some orders.

 

ClubSport Formula V3

New stock is on the way, and we expect to fulfill current backorders over the coming weeks. Production is progressing well following the improvements made during the launch period, and availability will continue to improve as further shipments arrive.

 

Podium Pedals

We know many of you are waiting for another Podium Pedals availability update.

We have received a revised delivery timeline from our supplier and are working to confirm it before making another availability announcement. After previous delays, we want to avoid sharing dates until we're confident they can be met.

We'll publish a dedicated Podium Pedals update as soon as that timeline is confirmed.

Create your own livery design for a Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (992) or a comparable model and share it on Instagram following the competition guidelines. The winning design will be brought to life on a real BLACK FALCON race car competing in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie (NLS). Submissions can include in-game screenshots, renders, or hand-drawn or digital concepts, and multiple entries are allowed.

We want to share an update on the CSL DD and GT DD Pro shutdown issue introduced with Fanatec App V1.5.1.

 

What happened

Our goal was to bring additional value to existing CSL DD and GT DD Pro owners by adding FullForce support and introducing a revised torque profile for the 8 Nm mode at no additional cost. Unfortunately, this change also introduced unintended torque overshoots under certain conditions that could trigger the power supply's built-in protection, causing the base to shut down.

We know many of you experienced race-ending incidents and had to reduce your FFB settings while waiting for the hotfix. We understand this caused significant frustration, which makes us all the more appreciative of the time you took to share your feedback. It helped us resolve the issue faster.

Where things stand now

The root cause was identified, and we have eliminated the overshoots while preserving the intended performance improvements. It’s encouraging to see the positive response to the revised force feedback behavior now that it is performing as intended.

The new version has solved the issue for most users, but we're still investigating some edge cases. If you're experiencing shutdowns after updating to the latest firmware, please open a support ticket and include FITS-501 in the subject so it can be routed to the right team as quickly as possible.

What we're changing

We’ve reviewed our firmware validation process and are expanding our test coverage to better reflect the extreme range of conditions our products encounter across all platforms. This includes more comprehensive back-to-back testing between firmware versions under identical hardware and software conditions.

We're continuing to invest in our firmware engineering team while strengthening our QA and release process. The work we're doing now is about giving you greater confidence in every firmware update.

Update #1: The first Podium Pedals Formula production run is already sold out. We knew demand would be strong, but the response exceeded our expectations. Additional inventory is expected to arrive in mid July. The next batch will also include the same launch bundle offer with free GT-style aluminum pedal plates. Once that batch has sold through, the launch promotion will end. Thank you for the incredible support, and we'll share more information on the next shipment as soon as we can.

The wait is over. Podium Pedals Formula and Podium Pedals Mounting Plate and Heel Rest is available to order on the Fanatec website from today, starting at 7 PM CET.

We know many of you have been counting down the days, and you’ll need to act fast to secure one of the first production units.

The launch version of Podium Pedals Formula includes a free pair of GT-style pedal plates, giving you the flexibility to choose the setup that best suits your driving style straight out of the box.

For those waiting for a three-pedal configuration, the Podium Pedals (three-pedal set) is still expected to arrive in Q3. The clutch pedal will also be available as a separate upgrade during the same period.

We have also released Fanatec App V1.5.2.3. This adds support for Podium Pedals, including the new pedal curve feature that lets you fine-tune pedal response to match your preferences. Learn more about pedal curves here.

Fanatec App V1.5.2.3 coincides with the launch of the Podium Pedals, bringing support for our latest high-performance pedal system to the Fanatec software. This also adds the Pedal Curves feature, allowing users to adjust throttle, brake, and clutch response characteristics directly within the software for a more personalised driving experience. The update also includes the CSL DD / GT DD Pro shutdown fix introduced in the recent hotfix release. Thank you to everyone who provided feedback and diagnostic information during our investigation. CSL DD and GT DD Pro Bases equipped with the Boost Kit 180 now operate as intended with the improved holding torque characteristics introduced in the previous firmware update.

CSL DD/GT DD Pro Hotfix

This release includes a hotfix for the CSL DD and Gran Turismo DD Pro Wheel Base shutdown issue experienced by some users following the Fanatec App v1.5.1.2 update.

We apologize for the inconvenience and thank everyone who provided feedback and diagnostic information during our investigation.

Users who reduced their force feedback settings to avoid the issue can now restore their preferred settings after applying this update.

This issue is not related to FullForce, but to changes made to the 8 Nm mode. We are working closely with affected users and investigating the issue as a priority. In the meantime, we recommend that Boost Kit users set the overall strength value in the Tuning Menu (FFB) to 75 or lower until a fix is available.

The latest Fanatec App contains firmware updates for CSL DD and Gran Turismo DD Pro Wheel Bases, meaning that FullForce is now supported on all 5 Nm and 8 Nm configurations, adding a new layer of detail to supported titles. 8 Nm configurations receive additional performance improvements.  

To get started, download and install the latest Fanatec App. The software will guide you through the firmware update process and help ensure your Base is ready for FullForce-enabled games. 

FullForce will work on all CSL DD and GT DD Pro Bases, including those still using the QR1 connection. However, for the best experience we recommend the QR2 system, which retains more of the fine details provided through FullForce. 

The team has been hard at work bringing this technology to CSL DD and GT DD Pro. These Bases were not originally designed with FullForce in mind, so adding support meant taking a deeper look at the firmware and reworking how key systems communicate and process data.  

At the same time, we wanted to ensure full compatibility with the upcoming Podium Pedals and support the new pedal curve selection feature in the Tuning Menu. Achieving both goals required significant optimization of the internal communication architecture.  

Unlike the ClubSport DD and the latest Podium DD bases, which rely on a single high-performance microcontroller, the CSL DD and GT DD Pro distribute processing tasks across two separate microcontrollers. Integrating FullForce across both controllers while maintaining low-latency response was a complex engineering challenge, but one the team was determined to solve.  

At the same time, we have improved the core performance of the CSL DD and GT DD Pro motor controller. Through work carried out during Podium DD development, we identified optimizations that could be applied to Boost Kit-equipped CSL DD and GT DD Pro Bases. While the overall torque figure remains at 8 Nm, these changes improve holding torque characteristics, most noticeable during sustained high-G cornering and through rapid direction changes. 

Note that due to the way that Gran Turismo 7 supports specific licensed hardware, FullForce is not currently active on the GT DD Pro when playing GT7. Support is expected to be added through a future game update.

We have seen your concerns about the shipping delays on the ClubSport Formula V3 and we would like to provide an update. During production, our team identified a quality issue, so we held back shipping the next batch until a fix was identified.

A large portion of existing open orders is expected to be fulfilled over the coming weeks. However, a steady and regular availability of new stock is currently not expected before September. We're working on decreasing the wait, as we fully understand you are eager to receive this product. Our team is making great progress and is confident these improvements will ensure reliable availability moving forward.
