Yesterday I updated the Fanatec App and all drivers to the latest version. After that, I wanted to hop into rFactor 2.

As usual, I started from the pits and opened my SimHub overlay. The moment I tabbed back into the game, my wheel suddenly pulled with what felt like 100% force in one random direction. It nearly broke my wrist and fingers.

I also tested it without the SimHub overlay, and the same thing happened. It seems to occur whenever I alt-tab out of and back into the game, or even when I press Esc.

It's not just the sudden full-force pull either. All rumble effects seem to trigger at once, and after that the wheel completely loses FFB. The steering also becomes very strange, almost digital, as if it's either full left or full right with nothing in between.

I'm honestly very disappointed and also shocked. This could have easily caused a serious injury to my fingers or wrist.

Has anyone else experienced this since the latest Fanatec App/driver update?

Hi, do you think the fullforce vibration we get when braking is relative to abs?
(in the iracing settings i have only wheel slip)
For example, in the M2 I get that vibration hitting the breaks more than 70-80%. I doubt it is wheel slip.
Could it be the same effect that we have in Lmu?
If yes it’s good news :)

A question for those of you with the Clubsport GT Cockpit.

Does the back/top of your chair stick out beyond the profile of the Cockpit at the rear?

If so, to what degree.

I appreciate that it is likely based on the height of the user, I am 5'9 for reference.

I ask because the space I have available is almost perfectly the length of the Cockpit itself.

I have tried a few searches online but no two answers matched.

PS, not interested on any "don't get that Cockpit get xxx" answers.

This is a question specific to this product.

So the only way I can get ac rally to run is on compatibility mode... does everyone else have this issue ?

I created this post to share my thoughts about the new Fanatec Fullforce firmware update and to help others experience this as it should.
I updated yesterday and everything is as it should . The only thing that’s weird is that if you don’t turn down the intensity of the Fullforce it will feel light sand and loose . Just turn it down to 20-30% and is all good to go . Nice feeling through the steering wheel really , feels more precise and good. I mainly race on iRacing and here is good .

Okay so recently I had the CSL steering wheel GT3 delivered, yk the one like the old McLaren V2? I play on Playstation and was wondering if anyone has any recommendations as to where I should buy some PS oriented button caps as opposed to the ones that come with the wheel. Should I look to Fanatec and get the caps and stickers set or should I look externally? Any suggestions would be great, thanks.

Using the gt3 with a foldable stand that’s why I have this necessity

I'm very new to simracing so please forgive me my noobie question. The above mentioned wheel + pedals are currently on their way and due to very limited space, I need to find a foldable rig or wheel stand.

I looked at the Playseat Challenge DD since getting that one in and out of the living room might be easier than the Wheel Stand 2.0 or the Omega Apex. I have some budget for this but need something that can handle DD 8nm and be as compact as possible (and still he fun to use of course).

Is the Playseat Challenge DD compatible and do I need to drill holes in that.

Out of the 3 mentioned solutions, which one would you pick? Is there anything else that's better? I also saw a mod for the Trophy seat to get it to fold down but not sure if that one is better.

I'm also open for a different solution but it must be foldable so I can store it away. Most times it will just stay there set up but without the possibility, I can't commit.

E aí pessoal. Tô fechando um upgrade de rig e o ClubSport GT tá na frente, mas antes de gastar queria ouvir quem realmente usa, tirando clubismo e fanatismo de marca de lado.

Já li vários reviews. Vejo muita gente dizendo que "cockpit tubular não vale, pelo preço monta um de perfil de alumínio 8020 e pronto".

Ao mesmo tempo, ele aparenta ter uma certa rigidez do tubo de aço, mas batem no flex das chapas de fixação (wheel deck e bandeja de pedais). Quero entender na prática, principalmente com base de torque alto.

Setup que tenho:

- Base: Simagic Alpha EVO Pro 18nm

- Pedais: Simagic P1000 (load cell)

- Volante: Simagic GT NEO

- Monitor: Samsung Odyssey G9 49" (G95SD)

Minhas dúvidas:

- Flex na base do Direct Drive: quem roda 18nm+ sente a chapa de fixação do volante flexionando a ponto de "engolir" detalhe de FFB? Ou na prática não incomoda?

- Bandeja de pedais + load cell: a P1000 tem load cell parrudo. A bandeja flexiona em frenagem forte? Precisou reforçar com algo?

- Monitor G9 49": alguém monta um ultrawide grande e pesado desse porte no suporte VESA do próprio cockpit? Ele treme/balança durante FFB pesado?

- POSIÇÃO/FOV do Monitor: Alguns reviews citam que é difícil colocar o monitor na altura adequada. Confere?

- "Não é modular": na prática isso atrapalha? Dá pra resolver montagem de acessório (shifter, handbrake, botão extra) com suporte impresso em 3D / abraçadeira / braço clamp sem dor de cabeça?

- A pergunta grande: Alguém comprou e se arrependeu?
