This has been bugging me since the Fanatec App launched - every time I restart my PC (or the app) it can't find iRacing and I have to edit the game entry in the app and save again (making no changes) to get it to work. After what seems like years of this, I finally dug into the Windows Registry and found that the ExeLaunch entry was looking for iRacing's old executable file and not the new iRacingUI.exe binary. I changed it, and now the Fanatec App starts iRacing correctly even after restarts. I hope this helps someone else

I tried a 26.7 upgrade, it wouldn't boot so I did a "restore from backup" on the console. However now I seem to be stuck in a weird hybrid where opnsense says I'm running 26.1.11_10 but uname shows the kernel is 26.7 and I can't do an update because it's looking for 26.1 packages (see below).

When I look in Packages in the GUI I see "base" is 26.7. Any idea how I can fix this?

Edit : so I removed the intel microcode plugin earlier in the week, but finally after attempting the update multiple times, clearing pkg cache and lots of other trial and error I did one last manual update from the console and it gave me the option to pick 26.7 - I let it run, rebooted and and 26.7 came up correctly. Hopefully there will be an updated microcode plugin at some point.

I have Opnsense running on an Intel N150 box with 4 2.5gb nics. It's been rock solid for over a year with Fidium 1gb fiber. On Thursday I upgraded to Fidium 2gb, and it was fine until this afternoon - now every 10-15 minutes the N150 drops the WAN IP -

initially, rebooting the ONT didn't fix anything so I called Fidium (thankfully they have an advanced tech support # to bypass the usual level 1 techs) and they reconfigured some stuff and I was able to get an IP, only for it to happen again 15 minutes later. After 3 calls they say they will need to send a tech but since I'm using my own router there might be a service fee if it's not their fault. Ok whatever, let's try some things.

I disconnected my N150 and reconfigured my Deco APs to be in router mode and guess what - it's rock solid. So now I'm looking at things on the N150 that could be causing the drops since the 2gb upgrade, and I have all of the hardware offloading turned off but I'm really at a loss as to what could cause this. It's clearly related to the 2gb upgrade, but it worked fine for 3 days (2 of which I was fully working from home so using it 8+ hours a day on 2gb).

Any ideas what else I can check?
