Can you carbonate in glass bottles?

Can you carbonate juices/sodas/favored water?

We don't have counter space for a branded counter top model.

I plan on keeping the tank under the kitchen sink and simply opening the sink base cabinet door, uncoil the hose, screw the carborator cap on then shake.

My boyfriend quit drinking caffeine years ago and recently mentioned how much he missed Mountain Dew and Coke. I was thinking of getting him a soda stream and syrups to make his old favorite sodas, but cannot find any caffeine free alternatives. Does anyone know where to get syrups or how I can a create caffeine free version of these drinks?? 🥤

So I got a sodastream 2 days ago. And I've tried code red mt dew and starry. They both have some weird after taste and just don't taste anything like the real thing. I got the sodastream on clearance so at least I didn't pay full price. But I just don't understand how to make me like it.

One of my new CO2 cylinders was completely empty. I removed the seal to put it in the machine and hit the button and nothing came out. I weighed it on a kitchen scale and it was in fact empty. I’m gonna start weighing the bottles before removing the seal so I can return it. Does this happen often?

Anyone find any retailers still carrying the classic cola syrup in canada? Sodastream.ca is useless for answers and sodatream.com doesn't ship internationally, even though they have the products. Can't get a straight answer as to why they aren't supplying it.
