Mukbang is an oversized Yoyo based on a fan favorite design from 2018 called "Snack".
•
Snack was an undersized pocket YoYo, which is normally a novelty design. But Snack was known for its amazing stability and maneuverability for being undersized, which carried over into the full size model.
.
I am always proud of the YoYos Recess makes, but this one makes me especially excited for the playability and lineage. The shape references many of my favorite yoyos from years past (Buzzon Rogue, YYJ Black Knight, CLYW Bear Vs Man), a very unique profile in todays V-Shaped dominated market. But design cues like the profile step and more even weight distribution, brings Mukbang up to standards that modern tricks demand.

String recommendation request
I just got back into yoyoing, and I bought some Kitty fat strings because they were widely recommended. I appreciate how the extra thickness makes the binds grab better (my old string was slipping a lot) but I need something that whips better. I'm seeing too much air resistance to hit e.g. a triple brent stole unless my string tension is super tight.
I'm looking for good bulk string, not boutique/specialty stuff.
I can't find kitty nylon available, I guess they don't make it anymore? What are people using?
NEW REALEASE! THE BOMBR!
It's fake, sorry! hahaha
I think I got too far in Blender, but I can't be happier with all the things that I learned in the past month. Not sure about the name for the brand, but I lost my cat this past Sunday, so I'm trying to honour him with RUFF (his name was Ruffus). Let's see what the future holds.
If this comes true someday, it would be an achievement.
How badly did I mess up?
Decided to get back into yoyoing as an adult as a way to "touch grass" and spend less time doom scrolling. I downloaded the skill addicts app for fun the other day and discovered i haven't really been throwing a breakaway as much as I've been casually tossing the yoyo to the side. I've since learned to actually throw a breakaway, and can land tricks either way with some tricks being easier with an actual breakaway (chop sticks) and some easier the other way (speed combos). So my question is, is there any utility to this, is it just reinforcing sloppy technique, or should I even care as long as I can land the tricks I want since I don't suspect I'll be getting into the competitive yoyoing scene this late in life?
