In the aftermath of the Death Star’s destruction, the Empire strives to reassert its control. A stormtrooper survey team is dispatched to distant worlds where loyalty is measured, order is assumed, and unseen forces stir beneath the surface. From the towering spires of Coruscant, to the icy desolation of Hoth, the swampy shadows of Dagobah, and the hot sands of Tatooine, every mission challenges more than obedience and tests the spark of something deeper within. Under the Empire’s strict regimen and unyielding discipline, even the smallest hesitation can echo across the galaxy.

“Star Wars: Order Undefined” is a short film built entirely from AI-generated imagery and video, stitched together to explore morality, identity, and what it means to feel in a galaxy built on obedience. Each shot was crafted for visual consistency, from the sterile towers of Coruscant to the harsh deserts of Tatooine and the foggy swamps of Dagobah.

No audio was included in the AI outputs, so I added all sound design manually to give the world weight — footsteps, blaster fire, environmental ambiance — paired with subtle cues hinting at inner conflict.

While working on my short film Star Wars: Order Undefined, I generated a series of AI images and video clips to lock in the visual language before assembling the final shots for the movie. These outputs helped establish the tone, environments, and the overall Star Wars-inspired aesthetic I wanted the project to convey, something grounded in the look of classic live-action realism Star Wars films but reimagined through cinematic AI-generated visuals.

The film explores the subtle human element of Star Wars through eerie, atmospheric environments. Every world is carefully constructed to feel alive, from fog-laden swamps and barren tundras to Coruscant city towers and Tatooine desert plains.
