“Bloody Tears”
Thought I’d shake it up a bit and try some more theming!

Thought I’d shake it up a bit and try some more theming!
My wife (skinny with long black hair, irl wife has no resemblance) and I move in to a new house. She’s very pregnant, boxes are strewn about, the sun is high in the sky - our red minivan parked outside.
We get into an argument over unpacking. I think I push her? I’m not sure. But she turns around holding our baby but something is wrong.
She’s sick, they both are - I take her outside to the car however once walk out I notice the sky. The sun is gone, replaced by a dark moon. The car is gone, instead the road is a river of blood. I find a raft, my wife urges me to drag her along on the raft. She and the baby sat up top while I trudge through the chest-high blood trolling them behind me.
It feels like I walked for years.
The whole time I’m assaulted by twisted, beastly townsfolk drunk off the blood. One crawls onto the raft but my cleaver finds his head as he reaches for my wife.
She screams, “Don’t you dare hurt my baby!”
It’s directed at *me*. I carry on, finding a new house.
I start unpacking as the baby sits on the couch but my wife is on the raft still. We argue again, but she’s silent the whole time. I empty another box and as I look outside I see her hollowed eyes. She’s dead, looks like years.
I return inside to the baby cooing and then laughing *at me*. I raise my hand to discipline him and he shrinks in fear. Repeat.
I carry him outside and set on back to the first house. By the time I escape the stale blood, he looks just like his mother. I had killed them, her corpse told me so the whole journey back.
I’ve never had a dream quite like this tho I have had violent ones in the past and rarely any so vivid
TW - death, abuse, blood
