LG marked my repair “completed” before the tech even arrived.

Bought an LG fridge less than 6 months ago. It stopped working, and dealing with LG support has been one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had.

Despite the fridge still being under warranty, I’ve spent the last month going in circles with support. Multiple repair appointments were “scheduled,” only for the repair status to suddenly show as “completed” online before the appointment date even arrived. No technician showed up, yet LG still attempted to charge me for service visits that never happened.

On top of that, support repeatedly asked for excessive personal information that had nothing to do with diagnosing a refrigerator issue. Between phone support and the online chat system, it felt less like warranty service and more like a system designed to wear customers down until they give up.

The chat support responses were mostly copy-pasted scripts, and getting a straight answer from anyone was nearly impossible.

At this point, I genuinely regret buying LG. A warranty means nothing if the company makes actually using it this difficult.
