24hrs Into My Medical Abortion - Alone

I'm going through this process alone, so I just wanted to share my experience. Last Friday, I found out I was 5wks pregnant. I picked up my meds yesterday around 12:45pm and took the mifepristone right away. I decided to take the misoprostol vaginally at 7pm as it seems to cause the least amount of side effects and is the soonest way to take misoprostol. 1 hour before that, I took my prescribed anti-nausea meds and ibuprofen. Within 2-3 hours, I started cramping. At this point, it was late, so I fell asleep. All night long I was cramping. It was painful, but I already felt so much relief emotionally and mentally. Truthfully, the cramping just felt like really bad period cramps. Not as constant, but sharper. Around 6am I decided to get up and use the restroom. I passed (more like had to push) a large clot out, which was quite unsettling and shocking, but also relieving? I'm currently still bleeding, but my cramps have subsided (since about 4pm today). My bleeding is typical to my normal periods. My breasts were so incredibly swollen and tender, and I was emotionally irregular. I'm already feeling those pregnancy symptoms go away. I am so happy with my decision. I know what I did was right for me. I just hope everyone has a good experience like I've had and to not be afraid. Always put yourself first since that's who you can always rely on!
