Do you believe in “If they wanted to they would”?
I’ve found a lot of people mention things regarding “If your ex wanted to do something then they would”.. I’m a firm believer in that but I’m also curious in other peoples opinions, I’m sure there are always exceptions to the rule.
I ask this because my ex girlfriend has reached out to me at least two times asking to meet up after she broke up with me almost three months ago. Unfortunately both times I was preoccupied with other things and had to decline politely.. But just the other weekend I sent her a message asking her if she was available to meet up. She said she was busy but when I mentioned “no problem maybe another time” she said “yes that sounds great”
So should I wait for her to reach out to me asking to hang out again or should I send her a message next time I’m interested in hanging out with her? This relates to the whole “if she wanted to hang out again she would reach out to do so”
