Met Fantano briefly
Not sure if this will be taken down but it was a cool moment for me I figured I’d share.
Living in CT my whole life and watching Fantano as well I was always aware Fantano was in my vicinity and a guy I knew actually saw him around his town at a restaurant one time maybe five years ago.
So I always figured it wouldn’t be too shocking to run into him and it randomly happened today at the movie theater I work at. Kinda feel like a prick cuz I was eyeballing him tryna determine if it was actually him. Anyway once his movie let out i just told him I was a big fan and had been keeping up with his stuff for about 8 years. Didn’t want to bother him while he’s trying to relax but I asked him about the movie he saw (obsession). He was really into it he said and I agree it is a very good horror movie.
Only reason I’d have to regret approaching him is cuz ig I was a little loud cuz after we were done talking I just hear this guy behind us say “Anthony Fantano?” Lmao.
Anyway I appreciated him talking to me for that brief moment. Only thing that threw me off is his voice is way deeper in person ⚰️ could have been allergies tho.
Ig he’s in hot water atm so make of this interaction what you will but I’m not really super in the know abt it.
