The mount is sold but I really want to make it super secure and add another to the opposite side.
I wanted to be able to carry a spare CR3032 battery for my Aimpoint Acro C2 along with the battery plug that holds 2 × CR123 batteries. The modification isn't waterproof specifically for the 2032 battery but since it's inside the grip it should be fairly well protected. I might have to look into finding a single 2032 rubber protector in the future but for now it's just friction fit with zero rattle.
I wanted to have onboard spare batteries for my Aimpoint Acro C2 and RovyVon GL5 PRO. This mod isn't waterproof for the cr2032 battery but it is still protected pretty well. There is no rattling because I cut it out just right for a decent friction fit.
It's gone through some changes over the years and the patches are meant for those specific MILSIMs. The heart of the kit is a KDH soldier plate carrier system. There are other authentic items that I have procured but the plate carrier is the prize.
I knew exactly what I wanted on my helmet setup and realized that I didn't need ARC rails due to how each item either had a helmet clamp or Velcro. I also made my own NVG retention and put the wrap on. I think it came out pretty decent. There are some things like the strobe that I'll probably upgrade in the future but for now it suits my needs. Don't ask me for a complete build list, we'll be here all day LoL.
