New to school age children

My son just started kindergarten. I have found that I sit and waste the day away waiting for him to get home and do nothing when it's just me and my 11 month old. Maybe this will change as I get used to it but have any other parents done the same?

Need a writing homie 🤍✍🏻

I am writing a DND inspired book. Would love for a fellow DM, DND writer or dark fantasy fan to share with as I draft. We can share ideas critiques and appreciate each other's work. Not looking to collab or a work dynamic. Genuinely just want more friends who know dnd and rp. I have reading friends but they're not well versed in dnd. I also already have an editor.

21+ as the book does contain graphic scenes.

How do I sound more human and not a bot?

Edit: I have decided I'm done writing. None of my stuff is comprehensible anymore. I'm not sure when it happened or where. Good luck to you all & thank you.

I'm autistic. But I'm also a writer that hates using common words and basic descriptions in writing. I think a lot of us try to have our own flair and style. Mine is inspired by poetry. While I write I have a thesaurus out. Always looking for a better way to describe things.

Recently I have been extremely inspired by my dnd character and her story.

But I have an insecurity that I sound like the slop bot. It's not that my sentences and grammar are perfect.I often have a lot of run on sentences and my drafts are full of things not capitalized. My spelling isn't perfect either. I don't use dashes or really anything else but basic punctuation. My issue is I over explain. This has even happened here on Reddit when I vented about a 2 year situation and I gave allll the details. People said it was slop and farming.

This used to not be an issue before slop. People enjoyed when writers fully explained and you were taught to be very descriptive. Now you mix that with trying to write basically a lore book that takes place in a fantasy realm... I put my writing in those checkers and it comes back that a bot wrote it.

I'm worried if I try to publish, it will be rejected, or that people will read it and think a human didn't write it. A note to also add it has explicit scenes. I'm reading that a lot of people struggle during those specifically sounding bottish as well. But even the non explicit scenes gets flagged.

I do have an excerpt ready to share.
