Hey all… I’ve read all of Chuck’s books through Haunted. I recently got “Not Forever, but For Now” as a gift, and I’m maybe 5-6 chapters in. It’s incredibly creepy and uncomfortable. I tried talking to my fiancé about it, and now she thinks I’m a pedophile. Does this book pick up, or is it just shock? I want to trust Chuck, and am telling myself that he’s establishing tone and character, but fuck me, if this isn’t the most unpleasant thing I’ve read in a while. Should I keep going? Does it get better? Help!

What’s with these new speed bumps on Sheridan ave? Was there a huge problem with people speeding there?
