Internal interview for Finance Director role, tips for interviewing

I am currently working as a Senior Finance Manager. Interviewing this week for a Finance Director position at my company. It would report directly to a market president with a dotted line to the VP of Finance. I’m interviewing with two market presidents at the same time.

I already work closely with one of them, we talk weekly or every other week as needed. The other I know less well.

I have a generally strong reputation at work, but want to make sure I nail this. Any tips specific to internal promotion interviews versus external ones. Any other key areas I need to focus on as I prepare for the interview?

[Suggestion] Aqua Terra 38mm on Chrono24 for $5,800, is this normal or too good to be true?

I am pretty new watch guy here. I just found
an new Omega Aqua Terra 38mm on Chrono24 for $5,800. Retail seems to be around $6,700 in the United States. Seller is a dealer and has fantastic reviews and looks reputable with good reviews but dealer is outside the US.

Am I missing something? Why would there is such huge discount? Or, is this normal?

[Suggestion] Finding a watch similar to this

I am looking for a watch similar to this. My criteria are:

  1. Under or around $5k in price in the US.
  2. New watch. I am not too well versed in watches and buying old watches makes me nervous.
  3. No niche micro brands. Christopher Ward or Frédérique Constant are fine.
  4. Automatic movement, no quartz
  5. 36mm to 39mm in dial size. I have a smaller wrist. So, bigger watches are not an option for me.

Would love your suggestions on this.

VP is leaving ..how do I not lose momentum or elevate myself?

I’m a Senior Manager at a PE-backed company (~$250M revenue). My VP, who I had a really strong working & personal relationship with, just announced he’s leaving. Small finance team .. he reported directly to the CFO.

I had visibility into a lot of meaningful initiatives through him. I’m not gunning for his role (not ready), but I don’t want to lose the momentum I’ve built or become invisible during the transition.I am planning to have a conversation with about this soon.

Has anyone navigated something similar? Is there a way for elevate myself during this transition?

Would love to get your thoughts.
