Hi everyone,

I'm 21M and I'm honestly starting to get worried about my hair.

I first noticed a few grey hairs when I was around 18. Back then I didn't think much of it because it was only a handful. Over the last 2 to 3 years, though, it's increased a lot and now it's very noticeable, especially on the top of my head (photo attached).

For some context:

My parents both had a few grey hairs around a similar age, but nowhere near this many.

My hair is otherwise thick and I don't think I'm experiencing hair loss.

I'm a vegetarian but I don't mind eating non veg.

I haven't had any blood tests done specifically for this yet.

At this point I'm wondering:

Is this likely to be genetic, or could it be caused by something like a vitamin deficiency?

What blood tests should I get done? (B12, ferritin, vitamin D, thyroid, copper, etc.?)

Has anyone here actually managed to slow down or reverse premature greying after fixing a deficiency?

Are there any treatments that are genuinely backed by evidence, or is dyeing my hair basically the only realistic option?

I know grey hair isn't the end of the world, but at 21 it's been bothering me quite a bit, and I'd really appreciate any advice from people who've dealt with something similar.

this is nothing but an appreciation post for the artist who's the only one that still gets me genuinely excited for dhh and honestly for music in general

I used to be that kid who'd get insanely hyped over every dhh release maybe I'm not the same anymore or maybe the scene isn't either, either way we've all evolved and that's okay

but man... karma for me has been a constant

he was there when I was just getting into dhh and he's still here after I've grown through so much in life. It genuinely feels like I've grown alongside his music. nothing makes me happier than seeing him level up keep dropping music and get the recognition he deserves
