Missing items question
Hi,
I’m selling some things on Vinted, and someone ordered a fairly large bundle of stuff and offered a lower price for it (about 25% off in total), which I accepted.
When putting everything together I realised a couple of items are missing (I think my husband gave them away to a charity shop).
I let the buyer know so that they could cancel or amend the order if they want. They’ve asked me to send the parcel anyway, and said that they’ll just flag items as being missing when it arrives to get a partial discount.
This is fine with me in theory, but before I go ahead and agree I just want to ask if anyone’s had similar in the past - do you know if I can select the discount amount so that I can take the already-in-place discount into account? Or will Vinted automatically discount them the original cost of the missing items? (In which case I’d be losing out more than I’d like to).
Buyer seems nice and it’s all very civil, just looking to find out how it works from the Vinted side of things, hope that makes sense.
